Are you a talented photographer with a knack for spotting stylish people? Are you obsessed with fashion? Want to have your photos and writing seen by hundreds of thousands of college students? Looking for fun work experience doing something you love?
If so, College Fashion is seeking Looks on Campus contributors for the Summer/Fall 2010 semester.
As a CF Looks on Campus contributor, your job will be to scour your campus for the best-dressed students to feature in our Looks on Campus column. This involves taking photographs of students who you feel have unique style and interviewing them about their fashion choices.
Responsibilities include photographing stylish students on campus, editing photos, and keeping up with the latest trends. LOC Contributors will be expected to contribute 1-3 “looks” per month and will be able to set their own hours. Applicants should be able to start work on or around July 1st, 2010 and continue through December (end date can be flexible).
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate would be enrolled in college as of Fall 2010 and staying on or near campus for Summer 2010. We are also looking for students who are passionate about fashion, responsible, hard working, self-motivated, and creative. Applicants should have a strong command of the English language and should be able to handle working on a deadline. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other photo-editing software is a plus.
Why Get Involved?
This is an excellent opportunity if you’re interested in fashion and/or journalism and want to expand your portfolio and get your name out there. College Fashion is a very well-known website and is an impressive reference on any resume. Looks on Campus contributors will walk away with fashion and media industry experience, improved web writing skills, and an increased portfolio of work.
Perks of working with CF include having a fun job, networking within the industry, attending fashion-related events in your area, and representing fashion on your college campus for an international website. Also, since this is an online internship, you’ll be able to choose your own hours and work how and when you want to.
College credit is available and recommended – please indicate whether you want to receive college credit when you apply.
