Now that summer is in full swing, there are few better things than the feeling of a chic yet totally comfy dress. This Darling Demi beige lace shift dress looks fabulous on any body type and its neutral color makes it perfect for accessorizing and dressing up or down. We are thrilled that photographer Shaye Fitzgerald stepped in front of the camera to show us how to rock this outfit for any occasion.

The lace shift dress was originally bought as a bridesmaid dress, but what we love is that it is one of those rare pieces that can look amazing dressed up or down, and everywhere in between. Its flattering beige hue allows for playing with different accessories, and tossing a belt around the waist allows you to play with the silhouette.

Here, Shaye has paired with her favorite brown suede wedges, and a floppy black hat to keep her comfy yet chic! Even with a smaller frame, the dress falls in a way that still gives her shape, but she loves the way a belt takes the dress up a notch, making it perfect for an outdoor summer concert or grabbing a quick dinner with the girls.

The black clutch is awesome because it doesn’t distract from the details of the dress, while still matching the neutral color scheme and giving her some sparkle. She has kept the jewelry to a minimum; just a few dainty gold bracelets, as the collar is intricate in itself and as to avoid any clashing between the jewelry and the fabric.

Shaye is super excited to see what she can do with this dress in seasons to come, such as adding a fun pair of opaque tights, boots, or a scarf. A piece like this is sure to wow in any season!
