5 Ways To Wear Palazzo Pants

Most fashion trends should be put in the past. Layering your tank tops, Von Dutch hats, and jean mini-skirts with leggings, (well, jean mini-skirts period) just to name a few. But some trends are bound to make a comeback, and this one came all the way from our mom’s closets. Palazzo pants were first popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s and are a popular style for summer. The material is light, loose, and breathable which makes them perfect for people who hate wearing shorts but pants are just too uncomfortable in the warm summer months. Here are 5 ways to wear palazzo pants.

Prints

Plain colored pants are chic and safe, but if you are looking to add a little oomph into your wardrobe, printed palazzo pants could be your first step. You can pair them with a plain solid top or, if your feeling adventurous, you can pair a printed top with printed pants.

Plain T-Shirt

Wearing a plain white t-shirt will make the pants look a lot more casual and is a good way to get yourself comfortable wearing this style.  You can also wear tank tops and other solid color shirts that accent the color or print of the pants.

Crop Tops

Crop tops are perfect for pairing with palazzo pants. Since the pants are heavier looking, a fitted crop top balances the weight and gives your outfit a great shape. Since palazzo pants are made to wear higher on your waist, crop tops show off just the right amount of skin.

Business Casual

These pants are also great to wear to the office. They are chic and comfortable; just pair them with a cute button up and heels and you’re ready for your workday.  Don’t forget to accessorize  to add a little extra to your look.

Beach Cover-Up

Instead of a cover-up, wear these pants to the beach with your bathing suit top. The light fabric won’t make you too hot and the different patterns will look perfect on the beach.
