What girl doesn’t love a white t-shirt? Here at Sorority Fashion, we love white tees. They’re a great basic and go with everything. The problem is though that sometimes it’s easy to get stuck in a white tee rut and you’re always wearing it the same way. For us, it’s usually with jeans or shorts. Just like the other girls at Sorority Fashion, I love a great white tee. I’m a firm believer that each white tee serves a different purpose in your wardrobe. I love a good v-neck because of the flattering neckline and that it goes with jeans just as well as it does with a skirt.
Tip #1: Tuck it in
My number one tip for styling a white tee with a skirt is to always tuck it in. Most tees are not cut to be worn over a skrit so it’s going to end up looking bulky and unflattering. If you are wearing a skirt that’s fitted like a bandage skirt pair it with a baggy tee so that you can knot it.
Tip #2 Accessorize with bright bold colors
Jazz it up with a bright bag or shoes. Nothing makes a statement like a hot pink clutch! Also use this as an opportunity to bust out your statement shoes. Because the outfit is simple, the statemetn shoes wont clash.
Tip #3 Textured skirt
Because the tee is such a basic, add dimension to it with texture. For this outfit, the faux leather pleated skirt adds the needed dimension to the outfit. Other options could be a fun printed skirt or a fringe skirt!
